Dr. Niranjan, known affectionately as "Dr. Niri" to his patients, is a highly experienced and respected family doctor who has been serving the Kallangur community for over 18 years. He has been a Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners since 2009.  He is widely is known for his compassionate and patient-centered approach to medicine.

In addition to his work as a GP, Dr. Niranjan holds the title of Senior Lecturer at the prestigious University of Queensland. He is a highly-regarded medical educator and is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience with the next generation of doctors. He is involved in teaching medical students.

Dr. Niranjan has a wide range of interests and expertise in all aspects of family medicine, and is particularly skilled in the areas of occupational medicine and skin cancer detection and management. He has completed  training in these areas, including a Certificate in Primary Care Skin Cancer Surgery and a Certificate in Clinical Occupational Medicine from Monash University.

Throughout his career, Dr. Niranjan has been committed to providing the highest level of care to his patients.

Dr Niranjan is fluent in English,Kannada and Hindi.

Dr. Tamana is a highly trained and experienced GP who received her medical degree from the prestigious University College London Medical School in 2008. She has been a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners since 2014 and of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners since 2015.

With a keen interest and experience in all aspects of general practice, Dr. Tamana has also undergone specific training in family, sexual, and reproductive health ( IUD insertions and removals), earning her diploma in 2013. Her particular areas of interest include women's and children’s health, chronic disease management, and skin cancer medicine and surgery. She has completed Healthcert courses in these fields and is able to perform iron infusions as well.

Dr. Tamana is fluent in English, Russian, Dari, Urdu, Persian/Farsi, and Hindi, which allows her to effectively communicate with patients from diverse backgrounds. She is also actively involved in teaching medical students, sharing her knowledge and expertise with the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Throughout her career, Dr. Tamana has built a reputation as a caring and compassionate doctor who is dedicated to providing the highest level of care to her patients. She takes a patient-centered approach to healthcare and always goes above and beyond to ensure that her patients receive the care and support they need to achieve optimal health and wellbeing.She is an independent medical practitioner practicing  at Brewer Street Medical Centre.

We are delighted to introduce Dr. Alex, the newest addition to our esteemed team of healthcare professionals. Dr. Alex completed his medical degree at the prestigious University of Queensland in 2018, demonstrating his commitment to academic excellence from the very start. He became a member of the Royal Australian College of General Practice in 2020 and achieved his fellowship in 2022, solidifying his expertise in the field.

Dr. Alex brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience, with a particular focus on chronic disease management, women's and men's health, children's health, and skin cancer medicine and surgery. His diverse range of interests ensures that patients of all ages and backgrounds receive comprehensive and specialised care.He is an independent medical practitioner practicing at Brewer Street Medical Centre.

 Dr Nilusha Arachchige is a warm, compassionate, and highly experienced General Practitioner who has been caring for patients across Australia for over 18 years. For more than eight of those years, she has been a dedicated healthcare provider right here within the Redcliffe Peninsula community.

Awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2012, Dr Arachchige is deeply committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care across all stages of life. She believes in an evidence-based, holistic approach, ensuring that every treatment plan is carefully tailored to meet her patients' individual needs. Dr Arachchige is passionate about promoting the general health and wellbeing of individuals and families.

Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Dr Arachchige has substantial experience working across a broad range of general practice areas, with a strong focus on:

• Women’s Health: Menopause management, sexual health, pre-conception counselling, early pregnancy care, and postnatal care.
• Chronic Disease Management & Care Planning: Including comprehensive care for diabetes, asthma, COPD, cardiovascular disease, and hypertension.
• Mental Health: Management of depression and anxiety, and the preparation of Mental Health Care Plans.
• Preventive Health & General Medicine: Preventive health assessments, weight management, internal medicine, and travel medicine.

To ensure patients receive the most appropriate care pathways, please be advised that Dr Arachchige does not offer GP Shared Antenatal Care, nor does she provide ADHD assessments and management.   She is an independent medical practitioner practicing  at Brewer Street Medical Centre. 

 Crystal specialises in providing tailored consultations and personalised recommendations for weight management and diabetes management. She has a particular interest in paediatric and IBS management, reflecting her commitment to addressing diverse nutritional needs. Additionally, Crystal has extensive experience in delivering group education sessions on topics such as healthy aging, cardiovascular health, and Type II diabetes.

Her strong background in research includes contributions to various projects at Griffith University, QUT, the University of Queensland, and Deakin University. This research foundation equips her to bridge the gap between clinical practice and academic inquiry.

A firm advocate for professional integrity and empathetic care, Crystal leverages her clinical expertise to identify research opportunities and advance the field of dietetics. She aspires to continue her professional development and eventually pursue a doctorate in dietetics research.
